• Explanation : Before Jesus was sentenced to death by the Sanhedrin and the Roman Governor, he celebrated the Jewish Easter Meal with His 12 disciples, to thank the Lord for all the blessings they received through the ages.

At that moment Jesus commanded his disciples to include in the history of all the blessings also His Life and His Mission work.

In this way Jesus gave Himself as the bread and drink of new Life every time they celebrated the Eucharistic meal as thanksgiving to the Lord (Luc 22:14-23).

• Keterangan : Sebelum Yesus dijatuhi hukuman mati oleh Makhamah Agung dan Gubernur Romawi, Ia merayakan Makan Paskah Yahudi dengan keduabelas murid-Nya.

Pada malam itu, Ia bersyukur kepada Tuhan atas semua berkat yang mereka terima selama berabad-abad. Ia memerintahkan murid-muridnya untuk menyertakan dalam sejarah semua berkat, juga hidup dan MisiNya.

Dengan cara ini Yesus menyerahkan diri-Nya sebagai makanan dan minuman untuk kehidupan baru, setiap kali mereka merayakan perjamuan Ekaristi sebagai ungkapan syukur kepada Tuhan (Luk 22:14-23).
