• Title : Who Am I For You ?

• Explanation : At the high mountain Hermon in the north of Israel, far from the center of the Jewish religion in Jerusalem, Jesus visited the place Caesarea Philippi, Bania. At the flanks of the mountain were still to see the statues of the Greek Gods like Phan. There you could see also the new temple dedicated to God Caesar August. Amid this mixture of religions Jesus asked his disciples, about his Identity. “Who Am I according to the people,” asked Jesus. They answered, “You are one of the prophets, coming back.” Then Jesus asked, “But for yourself, Who am I for you?” Then Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus said: “It is not you who speaks, but Gods Spirit in you speaks this words” (Luc 9:20).

• Penjelasan : Di gunung Hermon yang tinggi, di bagian utara Israel, jauh dari pusat agama Yahudi di Yerusalem, Yesus mengunjungi tempat Kaisarea Filipi, Bania. Pada sisi-sisi gunung tersebut masih ada patung para dewa-dewi Yunani seperti Phan. Di sana Anda juga bisa melihat juga kuil yang didedikasikan untuk Kaisar Agustus. Di beragamnya agama ini, Yesus bertanya kepada para murid-Nya, tentang identitas-Nya. “Siapakah saya menurut rakyat,” tanya Yesus. Mereka menjawab “Engkau adalah salah satu nabi yang datang kembali.” Lalu Yesus bertanya, “Tapi untuk kamu sendiri, siapakah saya bagi dirimu?” Lalu Petrus menjawab, “Engkau adalah Mesias, Anak Allah yang hidup.” Kata Yesus, “Ini bukanlah kamu yang berbicara, tapi Roh Kudus di dalam dirimu yang mengatakannya” (Luk 9:20).
