  • Explanation : The Roman Governor Pilate received the leaders of the Jewish Religion in Jerusalem.
They accused Jesus of Nazareth to be a traitor for their religion, and of blasphemy, because He promoted Himself as the Son of God, who He named His Abba. But Pilate pronounced his legal decision: Not Guilty (John 18:38).
