Explanation : Jesus tells the story of a rich man who owned a big vineyard. From the early morning he went to the market to hire workers for the land. He made a work contract for a denary a day. But every hour he went to the market, there were still laborers waiting for a job. To work for the last hour he sent them to the vineyard and promised to pay them properly too. In the evening he ordered his foreman to pay first the last laborer also one denary. When the first laborers came forward to receive their payment, they were jealous and expected to receive more than the last laborers. But they got one denary according to the contract. They protested, it was not fair. The landowner said, “I have mercy for the last laborers. Am I not allowed to be good with my money?” (Mat 20:1-19).

(Mat 20:1-19).
