  • Title : Thomas, Have Faith

  • Acrylic on Canvas : 90 cm x 70 cm
  • Explanation : When Jesus after His resurrection came to the upper room to visit His disciples, Thomas was not present. Thomas could not belief the testimonies of his friends. He would not belief in the risen Jesus, if he could not touch His wounds by himself. The next Sunday Jesus came again and invited Thomas to touch Him. Then Thomas could say “My Lord, my Savior.”
Then Jesus said “Happy those who not see, but  belief” (John 20:26-29).

  • Penjelasan : Ketika Yesus setelah kebangkitan-Nya datang ke ruang atas untuk mengunjungi murid-muridNya, Thomas tidak hadir. Thomas tidak bisa percaya akan kesaksian dari teman-temannya. Dia tidak akan percaya bahwa Yesus sudah bangkit, jika dia tidak bisa menyentuh lukaNya. Minggu berikutnya Yesus datang lagi, dan kali ini Ia mengundang Thomas menyentuhNya. Kemudian Thomas berkata “Ya Tuhanku, Juru Selamatku.” Lalu Yesus berkata “Berbahagialah mereka yang tidak melihat namun percaya” (Yoh 20:26-29).
